This week, nursery have been linking the numbers 1-5 with right amounts, using a range of objects including: pom poms, coloured bears, and playdough balls. This week, the Year 3's have been researching and making different mechanisms for their future puppet designs. They are confident naming each of the parts such as levers, fixed or loose pivots and saying what type of movement it creates (oscillating or reciprocating) https://t.co/jnAnJji4e3

This week, Y1 have been learning about the artists Anni Albers, Christo and Jeanne-Claude. They practiced weaving and wrapping skills in their art lesson. They wrapped pencils, water bottles and whiteboards and then went outside and used the fence to practise weaving. https://t.co/vFzfBShose

EY have been busy exploring the different creatures in the well-being garden. They observed snails as they created various patterns and trails, including letters and numbers and were also very excited to find tadpole. This week in computing, the children have been digitally composing music using 2Sequence. They selected various musical instruments, arranged them by bars, altered the number of beats, as well as the pitch and volume for each sound to make beautiful compositions. https://t.co/UkR2qKEVTQ

In Y4 Art lessons we are learning about textiles this term. This week we practised a Japanese textile art called Shibori in which we folded paper tissues in different ways, coloured in the edges and dipped them in water. We then unfolded the tissues to reveal colourful patterns. https://t.co/ANimIc9mw4
